Terms and Conditons
Last updated: 26 July 2026
Welcome to The Bumblebee Workshop. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website and to purchases made through our online shop, including pressed flower jewellery, home décor and gifts, as well as bookings for our in-person workshops.
By using this website, placing an order or booking a workshop, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase or booking.
1. About Us
This website and the products and services offered through it are operated by The Bumblebee Workshop ("we", "us", "our").
Our business provides handmade pressed flower jewellery, décor and related products, alongside in-person creative workshops.
Business name: The Bumblebee Workshop
Contact email:thebumblebeeworkshop24@gmail.com
If you have any questions about these Terms & Conditions, your order or a workshop booking, please contact us using the details above.
2. Using Our Website
You may use our website for lawful purposes only.
You agree not to:
Use our website in any way that breaches applicable UK laws or regulations.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website or its systems.
Copy, reproduce or use our website content, images, branding or product designs without our written permission.
Use our website to distribute malicious software or harmful material.
We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to our website where we reasonably believe that these Terms & Conditions have been breached.
3. Our Products
We create and sell handmade pressed flower jewellery, décor and other related items.
Because our products are handmade and often contain natural flowers and botanical materials, each item may have slight variations in colour, shape, size and appearance. These differences are a natural part of handmade products and are not considered faults.
Pressed flowers are naturally delicate. Over time, natural botanical materials may experience subtle changes in colour or appearance due to exposure to sunlight, heat, humidity and age.
Where product photographs are provided on our website, we make every effort to represent products accurately. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your device or screen settings.
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to product designs, materials or packaging where necessary, provided that the product supplied remains materially as described.
4. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and offer you the option of:
Receiving a suitable alternative, where available;
Waiting for the item to become available again, where applicable; or
Receiving a full refund for the unavailable item.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices displayed on our website are shown in pounds sterling (£) unless otherwise stated.
The price you pay will be the price displayed on the website at the time you place your order.
Where applicable, delivery charges will be shown separately before you complete your purchase.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Any price changes will not affect orders that we have already accepted.
Payment must be made through the payment methods made available on our website.
We do not store your full payment card details. Payments are processed securely by our chosen payment provider.
6. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
You will receive an acknowledgement confirming that we have received your order. This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
Your order is accepted when we confirm that the products have been dispatched, or otherwise expressly confirm acceptance of your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a genuine reason to do so, including where:
A product is unexpectedly unavailable;
There is an obvious pricing or description error;
We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity; or
We are unable to fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will issue a full refund for the cancelled order.
7. Handmade and Bespoke Items
Some products may be made to order, personalised or created specifically for you.
Where a product is personalised or made to your specific requirements, you may not have the usual right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
This may include items that have been personalised with names, dates, colours or other details at your request.
If you are unsure whether an item qualifies as personalised or bespoke, please contact us before placing your order.
8. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on the relevant product page or at checkout.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal delays, adverse weather, strikes or other disruptions.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If an order is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, we may require payment of additional postage costs before sending the order again.
Once an order has been delivered to the address provided at checkout, responsibility for the package passes to you, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs of the packaging and the damaged item so that we can investigate and assist you.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
9. Your Right to Cancel an Online Order
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you generally have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us after notifying us that you wish to cancel.
To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us at:
Email:thebumblebeeworkshop24@gmail.co.uk
Returned items must be sent back in an appropriate condition. You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
We may reduce your refund where the value of the goods has been diminished because they have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality.
We will normally issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or receiving evidence that you have returned them, whichever is earlier, where required by law.
Refunds will generally be made using the original payment method.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that they have been sent back.
10. Exceptions to the Right to Cancel
The statutory cancellation right does not apply to certain types of goods, including:
Items made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you;
Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; and
Other goods or services excluded by applicable consumer protection legislation.
Where an item is personalised or made specifically to your requirements, we will make this clear before you place your order where reasonably possible.
Your statutory rights in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods are not affected.
11. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
We take care to ensure that every order is made and packaged to a high standard.
If your item is faulty, damaged on arrival or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible with details of the issue and, where appropriate, photographs.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.
We will assess the issue and work with you to provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes your legal rights as a consumer.
12. Workshop Bookings
We offer in-person creative workshops that can be booked through our website.
Workshop places are subject to availability and are only confirmed once payment has been successfully completed and your booking has been confirmed.
Details of each workshop, including the date, time, location, duration, price and any materials included, will be provided on the relevant workshop booking page.
Please ensure that you check these details carefully before completing your booking.
13. Workshop Cancellations by You
If you book a workshop online, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, depending on the timing of the booking and the date on which the workshop takes place.
However, where a workshop is booked for a specific date or period, the statutory cancellation right may not apply to the booking.
Where the statutory cancellation right does not apply, our workshop cancellation policy will apply as follows:
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the workshop date: full refund.
Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the workshop date: 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop date: non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may contact us to ask whether your place can be transferred to another person or moved to a future workshop. This will be considered subject to availability and at our discretion.
If you are unable to attend due to illness or an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We will consider requests on a case-by-case basis.
14. Workshop Cancellations by Us
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop where necessary, including due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If we cancel a workshop, we will offer you:
A transfer to an alternative workshop date, where available; or
A full refund of your workshop booking.
We will not be responsible for additional costs you incur as a result of a cancelled or rescheduled workshop, such as travel or accommodation expenses, unless required by law.
15. Workshop Conduct and Safety
Our workshops are intended to be enjoyable, creative and welcoming experiences.
You agree to follow reasonable instructions given by the workshop facilitator and to behave respectfully towards other attendees.
Some workshops may involve tools, equipment, adhesives, resin, jewellery-making materials or other craft supplies.
You must follow all safety instructions provided during the workshop.
Children and young people may only attend workshops where the relevant workshop listing specifically permits this. Any age restrictions or supervision requirements will be stated on the booking page.
We reserve the right to ask an attendee to leave a workshop where their behaviour creates a safety risk, causes serious disruption or is abusive towards staff or other attendees. In such circumstances, no refund may be provided where permitted by law.
16. Workshop Materials
Unless otherwise stated in the workshop description, the materials reasonably required to complete the workshop activity will be provided.
Because our workshops involve natural and handmade materials, the exact flowers, foliage and other decorative elements available may vary.
We may substitute materials where necessary, provided that the overall nature and value of the workshop are not materially changed.
If you have allergies or specific sensitivities, please contact us before booking to discuss whether the workshop is suitable for you.
You are responsible for informing us of any relevant allergies or accessibility requirements before attending.
